Janice is the founder of Radical Simplicity Inc., a consulting company that works with leaders to focus on the single greatest leverage for achieving their highest aspirations and sustaining high performance: Structural Dynamics.

Over three decades, Janice built a stellar track record for innovation and performance excellence as a senior human resources executive with global food powerhouse McCain Foods, retail icon Canadian Tire and resource leader Suncor Energy.  Her work in developing organizational systems and structures, and leadership capability, has produced significant operational, cultural and reputational improvements and has been recognized by her peers as one of Canada’s 100 most powerful women.  Janice was among those named by Canadian Business magazine as “Most Innovative Executive” and “Best Managers in Canada”.

A great believer in life-long learning, Janice served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Council for Learning and was instrumental in the creation of Canadian Tire University and the award-winning McCain Learning Centre.

Janice is a member of the National Advisory Board for the Salvation Army, leading the Human Resources task team. She has spoken at numerous industry forums, is a past member of the Conference Board of Canada and the Human Resources Professional Association, served on the Board of Family and Children’s Services Niagara and was a proud volunteer with Junior Achievement and the United Way.

Janice holds a Master of Science degree in Organization Development from Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management in Cleveland, Ohio (with international studies at KU Leuven in Belgium) and graduated from the University of Calgary’s Personnel Management Program.  She also holds an honorary diploma in Business Administration from Niagara College.

Janice lives on a maple tree farm in Ancaster, Ontario with her family and enjoys producing maple syrup, reading, and staying active through cycling, swimming, and sailing.
