Walker Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre

On April 11, 2015, Niagara College announced that the Walker family and its Niagara-based Walker Industries Holdings Limited are donating $1.2 million to Niagara College – the largest corporate gift the college has ever received. In recognition of Walker’s generosity, the new centre is named the Walker Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre.

This 15,000 square-foot facility, which opened in May 2016, significantly enhances Niagara College’s capacity for applied research projects.  Specializes in engineering design, 3D technologies, lean manufacturing processes and additive manufacturing, our Research & Innovation team work with small and medium-sized businesses to bring their ideas to life, from concept through to working prototypes, utilizing leading-edge technology, equipment and software.
